Training System:

Guyot on old vines averaging 55–70 years

Harvest:

Late October, by hand in small crates with strict selection of grapes

Vinification & Aging:

Fermentation in stainless steel at controlled temperature; malolactic in new French oak barriques. Aged for 18 months in barrique and a further 12 months in bottle before release

Color:

Deep garnet red with brilliant ruby edges

Nose:

Concentrated aromas of black cherry, dried plum, violet, sweet spices, and graphite with subtle hints of balsamic and smoke

Palate:

Powerful and harmonious; dense fruit and firm yet silky tannins balanced by fresh acidity and volcanic minerality. Long, persistent finish with depth and elegance
