Valpolicella Ripasso DOC

Grapes:

Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella (classic Valpolicella blend)

Alcohol:

13.5% ABV

Vineyards & Winemaking:

Grapes grown on hillside vineyards in Valpolicella with clay-limestone soils. Fermentation in stainless steel; the wine is then “re-passed” on the pomace of Amarone, enhancing body and aromatic complexity. Aged 12–18 months in oak barrels before bottling.

Color:

Deep ruby red with garnet reflections.

Nose:

Intense and rich; ripe cherry, plum, blackberry, and dried fruit, with notes of spice, leather, and cocoa.

Palate:

Full and harmonious; velvety tannins with layers of red fruit, spice, and a long, warm finish.

Body & Style:

Dry, medium- to full-bodied red; structured yet smooth, a bridge between Valpolicella Classico and Amarone

Food Pairing:

Ideal with roast meats, game, braised beef, mushroom risotto, and aged cheeses

Recognition:

Appreciated as a refined Ripasso that delivers both richness and approachability.
