Juicy and powerful yet balanced; flavors of mixed berry preserves, licorice, turned earth, and roasted coffee bean; velvety tannins with a long, elegant finish

Winemaking:

Grapes from the Tulin vineyard in Treiso and Neviglie; maceration of 15–20 days in temperature-controlled stainless steel; natural decantation; aged about 18 months (half in large 50 hl oak casks and half in barriques); followed by 9 months of bottle refinement

Body & Style:

Full-bodied and structured but also fresh and harmonious; combines power with finesse, a classic Treiso Barbaresco

Ideal with risotto, braised or roasted meats, hearty pasta dishes, and medium- aged cheeses

Description

The nose expresses ample and fruity perfumes of magnesium and iron linked to the minerality of soil. The taste features the austerity typical of Nebbiolo completely and persuasiveness, saltiness and the right amount of tannins.
