Boccadigabbia is a historic estate located on the Adriatic hills of Civitanova Marche. Once part of the Bonaparte family’s holdings, it has been privately owned since the 1950s and is today directed by the Alessandri family. The vineyard surface is limited to just over 10 hectares, allowing close attention to each parcel. This small scale ensures low yields and a focus on quality rather than volume. The soils are clay-limestone with maritime influence, producing wines of both intensity and freshness. Alongside native varieties, the estate has long cultivated international grapes such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, introduced here as early as the 19th century.
