Elena Fucci
Elena Fucci is one of Italy’s leading female winemakers and a defining voice of Basilicata’s modern wine scene. Born in Barile, she took over her family’s old vineyards in Contrada Solagna del Titolo on the slopes of Monte Vulture, when the family was about to sell them. Instead, she decided to study viticulture and oenology and dedicate herself entirely to this land.
Since founding the estate in 2000, her focus has remained on a single wine — TITOLO, crafted from old-vine Aglianico del Vulture grown at about 600 meters on volcanic soils. The result is a wine of structure, minerality, and balance, recognized as a benchmark for the appellation.
Elena’s work combines precision, authenticity, and quiet determination, making TITOLO not only a wine of place, but a symbol of her vision and resilience.
