Pale straw with light green reflections.

Nose:

Pear, yellow apple and white peach, with acacia blossom, a hint of almond and a saline/mineral lift. Flavor / Palate Fresh and savory, citrus and stone-fruit notes over crisp acidity; clean, mineral finish typical of Roero’s sandy soils.

Winemaking:

Hand-harvested; gentle de-stem and short cryo-maceration; ~21-day cool fermentation in stainless steel. Aged 6 months in steel on fine lees, then 3 months in bottle.

Body & Style:

Light to medium-bodied, dry, fruity-mineral and refreshing.

Description

Refined and elegant. Clear hints of acacia, pear and peach, tropical fruits. The impact is soft and persistent. The taste is fresh and balanced with a savory finish, typical of wines deriving from the sandy soils of Roero.
